Dynamo Dresden signs Nikolai Rapp, a 29-year-old midfielder who last played for Karlsruher SC. Rapp brings a lot of experience, with a total of 211 games in the 2. Bundesliga and nine games in the Bundesliga. The defensive midfielder is expected to bring stability to the team and strengthen the build-up play. Nikolai Rapp was a German U19 champion in 2014 under Julian Nagelsmann. Twelve years ago, the TSG Hoffenheim youth team won the German championship, with Julian Nagelsmann as their coach. Rapp, unlike his former coach, did not make it to the national team, but could be a lucky catch for Dynamo Dresden. The 1.86-meter-tall player comes to Dresden to replace the departed Kofi Amoako.
