Dynamo Dresden has banned 69 hooligans from the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. The second-tier club is reacting to the mass brawl on the night before the away game in Nuremberg. The police had dissolved the altercation with a large deployment and recorded the personal details of 214 participants from both fan groups. Over 100 came from the Dresden region. The public prosecutor's office of the state capital has launched investigations for assault and breach of the peace. 69 people could be identified as regular visitors to the Dresden stadium. Dynamo has already issued an immediate ban against these individuals. The club confirmed this to BILD, after the MDR had first reported on it. Managing Director Stephan Zimmermann had clarified after the riots that there is no discussion potential here. The identified perpetrators are no longer allowed to enter the Harbig Stadium. This was already in effect for the last home game against Bochum and will apply until the end of the season. After that, the club hopes for nationwide stadium bans, which can only be imposed by the DFB in the event of altercations at so-called third-party venues - i.e. not in and around the stadium. If the association does not do this by the summer break, Dynamo can also extend the house bans to the coming season. 1. FC Nürnberg has already done this in the case of around 80 perpetrators who were assigned to the Nuremberg environment by the police. In the case of the riots during the home game against Hertha BSC, there are still no stadium bans. The reason is that the police investigations, which have set up a 14-member special task force, have not yet been completed. No information has been released on the current status. If members of the club are found to be among the perpetrators of both incidents, they will be excluded from Dynamo. President Ronny Rehn had explained that those who commit such offenses can no longer be part of the sports community. If values such as respect, fairness, and humanity are trampled, the club will plead with the honorary council to revoke the membership of these individuals. The club has also already adopted a package of measures to prevent such riots in the Harbig Stadium in the future.
