Dynamo Dresden has announced a new signing and a contract extension before the start of training. The 24-year-old center-back Kenneth Schmidt is moving from Fortuna Düsseldorf to Dynamo Dresden.
Who is Kenneth Schmidt?
Schmidt has already made ten Bundesliga appearances for SC Freiburg and played seven games for Hannover 96 II.
The native of Freiburg is still recovering from a cruciate ligament injury and will be gradually introduced to team training, said sports director Sören Gonther.
Contract extension for Daniel Mesenhöler
The 30-year-old goalkeeper Daniel Mesenhöler has extended his contract. «Mese has always behaved in a highly professional manner in recent years», Gonther justified the contract extension.
